Lesson Builder Introduction

Lesson Builder is An environment for quickly and easily creating lessons that can be used with the Training By Steps application.

		Product Description
		Lesson Builder helps users to create Training By Steps lessons by breaking down the process into smaller steps. Users begin by entering basic details about the lesson such as a name, level, prerequisites and a basic description of the lesson. In the next step of the wizard the user builds up the lesson by adding the various steps. A picture or video clip can be added to the step to help explain some aspect of it. At any time in the creation process, steps can be reordered, or otherwise edited or deleted. When the lesson creation is complete it can be saved in a relevant lesson category and exported as a lesson file for use with Training By Steps.

Practical Use

Lesson Builder has been successfully used and tested in training scenarios in Uganda, Africa where I worked as a computer teacher for a year and a half. (For details of that experience click here) I found that I could create a full lesson on such topics as creating and editing Microsoft Word® tables, creating Microsoft Access® queries, etc in less than an hour. When the class was about to begin I would go round all the training computers and import the lesson into their Training By Steps installation.

Now that I am returned home from Uganda, I can still send lessons by email to my replacement teacher if needed.
